Legendary since 1994

The Original Navy SEAL

The evolution of an Icon

In the dead of night, in the world’s most unforgiving environments, precision and reliability aren’t optional, they’re mission-critical. That’s where the Luminox Navy SEAL watch was born.

This isn’t just a watch. It’s a symbol of elite performance.

Developed in partnership with the U.S. Navy SEALs in 1992, the original Luminox 3001 model was built to serve in darkness, deep water, and high-stakes situations. Over three decades later, that spirit lives on, refined through innovation, tested in the extremes, and worn by those who live life on the edge.

1992: The Watch That Started It All

The story begins with a call from the Navy SEALs. They needed a watch tough enough for underwater demolition, nighttime ops, and elite training. Luminox delivered the 3001 Original Navy SEAL, a lightweight, ultra-durable watch with constant glow technology that never required a button or external light source.

Key Innovations:

  • Always-on visibility with Luminox Light Technology
  • Ultra-light CARBONOX™ case
  • Water resistance up to 200 meters

Legacy: Trusted by SEALs, worn by professionals, adopted by adventurers.

3000 Heritage

Original Navy SEAL Heritage

In 2024, Luminox marked 35 years of adventure and precision with the launch of the Original Navy SEAL 3001 Heritage. A tribute to the watch that first caught the attention of the U.S. Navy SEALs, this special edition blends iconic design with modern upgrades, including a stainless steel rotating bezel and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It honors our legacy while delivering the same rugged durability, unmatched visibility, and mission-ready reliability that have defined Luminox since 1989.

MODERN ICONS

Built on Legacy

Today’s Navy SEAL watches carry the same uncompromising spirit as the original. Whether automatic or quartz, every detail is engineered for clarity, durability, and utility. These are not fashion pieces, they are mission gear, built to perform when others fail.

Each evolution builds on the last, but the core remains unchanged:

Unstoppable. Uncompromising. Unmistakable.

A legacy of support

Beyond The Watch

What began as a collaboration to build the ultimate tactical timepiece has grown into something deeper. Today, our connection with the Navy SEALs continues through ongoing support of the Navy SEAL Foundation, an organization dedicated to the warriors, veterans, and families of Naval Special Warfare.

At Luminox, we are proud to give back to the community that shaped us, helping fund critical programs in health, resilience, education, and legacy for those who serve and sacrifice.

Because honoring the mission means more than building a watch, it means standing beside those who make it possible.
