The Story of the Valjoux 7750
First introduced in the early 1970s, the Valjoux 7750 revolutionized watchmaking with its innovative cam-switching mechanism, offering a robust and efficient alternative to the traditional column wheel. The movement features a 48-hour power reserve, 25 jewels, and an impressive 28,800 vibrations per hour, ensuring a smooth sweep of the second hand and precise timekeeping. Its automatic winding system is powered by the motion of the wearer’s wrist, emphasizing its mechanical ingenuity.
